FAQs
Why do people book you?
Most clients first come to me because they feel stuck in a style rut and are seeking guidance on how to move forward. Often, for various reasons—such as ageing, starting their own business, or working from home—they realise that what once suited their needs no longer does, and they are eager to look and feel great about themselves again. Helping my clients discover their signature style that reflects who they are and where they are now is really what it's all about.
Is there a minimum budget required for a Personal Shopping trip?
There's no hard and fast rule for budget, although I do suggest clients have a minimum spend of £2,500. Quality is of paramount importance and I find that anything under that amount doesn't get you much and would really be seen as a top-up shop amount, i.e., an additional few extra pieces rather than an entire new wardrobe.
Is the Wardrobe Review & Edit essential before booking any Personal Shopping session?
I advise all new clients to book the Wardrobe Review & Edit, as I find it's an extremely helpful way of getting to know you, your wardrobe and your starting point. This also allows us to clear out any outdated, tired items that are no longer working for you, making space and reorganising your current wardrobe ahead of acquiring new pieces. I also recommend the review to long-standing clients, as every 2-3 years, a wardrobe needs to be assessed again to ensure we stay on top of things and that each and every piece you own is still working hard for you.
What are the knock-on effects of working with you?
A huge rise in self-confidence is one of the very first things clients report feeling as soon as they've worked with me. This not only affects my clients personally, but it extends to their friends, family, and colleagues, as the way they find themselves interacting and projecting their 'new' selves leads to far more positive life experiences; when we look good, we feel great! It's as simple as that. Another lovely thing to hear is the number of compliments clients receive - not just from friends, family, and colleagues, but from complete strangers too! To some, it might sound like it's just about clothes, but what I achieve with clients goes way beyond that. Yes, you'll have a brand-new wardrobe that's easy to put together and perfectly suited to you, but more than that, you'll have a wonderful sense of newfound confidence, and I can guarantee you'll love reaping the benefits that creates.
What age range do you work with?
I predominantly work with mid-thirties to mid-sixties, as I find people's needs and bodies change dramatically during these years. This means that what they wore in their late twenties to early thirties is suddenly not entirely relevant or perhaps suitable anymore. This age bracket is looking to find a new, up-to-date personal style that not only reflects how they now look and feel, but also ensures they are projecting their very best selves in whatever they do.
